Service Authorization

• The Program Service type must be active for the entire Authorization date range
• The Case Person must have an allowed Status/Role
• The Selected Provider must be active
• The Authorization cannot duplicate an existing Authorization
• There must be at least one Service Authorization rate frequency with units. Rate frequencies and amounts are controlled by the Provider’s rate data. The total number of units per frequency is set in the Service Authorization
• The End Date of a Service Authorization may be extended for error correction.
