Create a Notice of Missed Interview
When no Interview Held Date is entered by the Due Date, a Notice of Missed Interview (NOMI) will be automatically generated in batch the night of the Due Date and mailed the following work day.
Do not create a NOMI the day the interview was missed as another NOMI will be created in batch. If it is necessary to create the NOMI manually follow the steps below.
- Create an instance of Interview tracking but indicate NO to the “Do you want to create and Interview Appointment letter” question.
- The Detail Interview Tracking window will display.
- Select Actions, Create Notice of Missed Interview.
- The Notice of Missed Interview pop-up displays.
- Select the correct person from the Sent To drop down.
- Click the OK push button.
- Select Save and Close

The Notice of Missed Interview will be created in batch that night and mailed the following work day.
- Mode Change: Cases remain in Interviewing Mode except for cases that has been in Interviewing Mode due to association with another program case. Children’s Medical Assistance, AABD cases with SSI-FBR and Presumptive Eligibility Medicaid cases will change to Processing Mode as they do not require an Interview.
- Work Task: The Work Task ‘New Case’ will created for the Children’s Medical Assistance, AABD cases with SSI-FBR and Presumptive Eligibility Medicaid cases that go to Processing Mode.
