The SDX Financial window opens when the SDX Financial tab is selected on the SDX web page. It displays detailed information about the resources and income being considered by Social Security for this person's SSI case. The information will be specific to the record selected on the SDX List window.

SSN: This box displays the N-FOCUS Social Security Number for the person.
Birth Date: This box displays the person's N-FOCUS date of birth.
Name: This box displays the person's N-FOCUS name.
Gender: This box displays the person's N-FOCUS gender code.

This box uses a “yes” or “no” to indicate whether or not the client has the resource.

Earned income:
Net Countable: This box displays the prospective monthly amount of earned income to be received by the person after all disregards are deducted. This is the amount used by Social Security to determine SSI eligibility and payment unless retrospective budgeting procedures are being used.
Retrospective Net Countable: This is the amount of net earned income that SSI is using to calculate the SSI payment based on a previous month's earnings, .
Unearned income:
*Note: When SSI is budgeting the income of an ineligible spouse and the deemed income would be less than the difference between the SSI FBR for an individual and a couple, SSI will disregard this income when determining the SSI payment. The FBR in this case will be for a individual instead of a couple.
Net Countable: This box displays the current amount of net countable unearned income, after disregards, received by the person when SSI is budgeting prospectively and the deemed income field is zero, or the deemed income is less than the difference between the SSI Federal Benefit Rate for an individual and a couple (in the case of an ineligible spouse). (See *Note above).
Retrospective Net Countable: This box displays the amount of net countable unearned income, after disregards, received by the person when SSI is budgeting retrospectively and the deemed income box is zero, or the deemed income is less than the difference between the SSI Federal Benefit Rate for an individual and a couple (in the case of an ineligible spouse).
Deemed Income Amount: This box displays the prospective deemed income amount that is being counted by SSI on the person's budget. It includes the amount of income that is being deemed prospectively from the spouse or parents, if any. If this amount is less than the difference between the SSI Federal Benefit Rate for an individual and a couple, it is not used to determine the SSI Payment (See *Note above).
Retrospective Deemed Income Amount: This box displays the retrospective deemed amount. If this amount is less than the difference between the SSI Federal Benefit Rate for an individual and a couple, it is not used to determine the SSI Payment. (See *Note above).
Unearned Income Type Box:
Unearned Income Type: This column displays the type of unearned income the person received. The last three occurrences of Social Security (RSDI) income are displayed. Only the last occurrence of any other type of unearned income is displayed. “One Third Reduction” and Ineligible Child Allocation” are displayed here as a form of unearned income even though they are not a true unearned income.
Start Date: This column displays the date the unearned income started; or if it is a one-time payment, when it was received.
Stop Date: This column displays the effective date of termination of the unearned income amount. If the amount changes, this would be the last date the previous rate or payment was received.
Amount: This column displays the unearned income amount. For RSDI income, this may be zero if the claim number suffix is “M” or if the person is dual eligibility entitled but received only one RSDI check.
Frequency: This column indicates whether the unearned income is still being received, was a one time payment or has been terminated.
Claim: This column displays the claim or identification number under which each type of unearned income is received.
Verified: This column displays the number and amount of unearned income that has been verified.
Note: The Federal Benefit Rate can be determined by adding the total income that is being considered by SSI (from the boxes on this window) to the payment being received by the SSI recipient listed on the SDX Payment window.
