The recertification process is based on the household completing the application process in a timely manner.
A timely application for recertification
is an application received on or before the 15th day of the last month
of the certification period.
The worker must:
1. Complete the process for a timely reapplication before the end of the
household's current certification period;
2. Give each eligible household an opportunity to participate by the household's
staggered issuance cycle in the month following the receipt of a timely
application; and
3. The automated system will discontinue benefits at the end of a certification
period unless the household has been recertified.
